Under the AICTE Scheme for Promoting Interests, Creativity and Ethics among Students (SPICES) program , GRIET has established a student club “FLAVOURS” as a model club.
“FLAVOURS”, is a concept unique to engineering, gives a rare opportunity of to the students to experiment with their culinary skills.
Cooking clubs have emerged as vibrant communities where individuals with a passion for gastronomy can come together to explore new flavors, expand their culinary skills, and foster meaningful connections.
Its just not about competitions but it tries to bring out the presentation talent of the student and nutrition values. This club is dedicated to promoting cooking skills among students.
OBJECTIVES:
- To learn and share recipes, culinary techniques, and cooking tips.
- To organize cooking demonstrations, workshops, or group cooking sessions.
- To discuss topics related to nutrition, dietary guidelines, and sustainable food choices.
- To organize discussions on food history, cultural significance, and traditions associated with different cuisines
